PTO begins to accrue starting day. During the first 2-years of employment, an employee can earn up to 12 hours of PTO per month. The amount accrued increases with longevity.
After 5 years of employment, a qualifying employee, will earn longevity pay and will see increases in this pay, every 5 years up to 25 years of employment.
Helen Farabee Center contributes 6% of a full-time employee’s annual pay into a 401a account. (no match required; has a vesting period).
15 days of leave with pay is granted to an employee that is called to active duty by the Governor or a reserve branch of the United States Armed Forces.
Leave with pay is granted to employees due to a death in the immediate family.
Helen Farabee Centers recognizes 11 paid holidays each year.
Employees and their families are provided an EAP free of charge for short-term counseling and other services.
Qualifying employees receive leave with pay for one day taken within their month of hire annually.
Leave with pay is granted to employees called for jury duty. This shall only be for the time the employee has to be physically present for services.
